Holi – Dhuleti Festival 2018

The Holi Festival was traditionally celebrated at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir New Jersey on Saturday 3 March. The sacred images in the Mandir were adorned with colourful clothing. Devotees from all over USAcame to offer their prayers on this most auspicious day.
At 5 pm on the grounds adjacent to The Shree Swaminarayan Mandir New Jersey, the festival of Holi began with the chanting of Vedic prayers. Devotees performed poojan of Lord Shree Swaminarayan and Lord Vishnu and then proceeded to offer their respects at the large fire. Sanctified coconuts were given to the devotees as prasad.
Visitors expressed their pleasure that they were able to bring their children on this auspicious day to witness the traditional way of celebrating Holi.
